DHURANDHAR saw a phenomenal weekend recording business of 55 crore nett which is higher than what any other film has got in the fourth week let alone just the weekend. The film is just not stopping and despite the weekend not getting the normal huge growth, it can still possibly pick up a 100 crore nett fourth week. The total collections are 654 crore nett and it should be crossing PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE by the end of its fifth week.

The growth was limited mainly as its in holiday period but this will come into play towards the end of the week and collections should go up. The film is an urban action film but the collections in the mass circuits are also extraordinary be it a Gujrat, Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh. Films like JAWAN and PATHAAN are also in today's terms on the urban side and this film is far far ahead of these in the above areas. It is likely that the political angle in the film really has pushed the film in these markets to unthinkable levels for a film like this. However, this had also happened with THE KASHMIR FILES which was even more urban in its presentation than DHURANDHAR.

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE is the biggest BLOCKBUSTER in Hindi post the pandemic and it remains to be seen how DHURANDHAR compares with that in the final run as its about getting higher in many circuits as possible as the Hindi release favours DHURANDHAR. There are two circuits already but it wont be easy getting to number one in many more even with this extraordinary run as the collections of PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE are above extraordinary in most of the Hindi circuits.

DHURANDHAR had another fantastic hold on its fourth Monday collecting around 10 crore nett which takes the film to a huge 664 crore nett in 25 days. The film does look on course for a 100 crore nett fourth week though it will all depend on the jump it sees on the final day of the year which is a holiday for New Years Day.

The film is now probably doing best in Mysore with the weakest circuit probably being West Bengal. Also its weakest in terms of this film as even West Bengal will be among the top four or five films of all time. The film is now also the biggest grosser ever in Delhi/UP which makes it three circuits where it is number one. They are East Punjab, Mysore and Delhi/UP. Delhi/UP had no film doing 100 crore nett before the pandemic and this film looks sure to do 175 crore nett and maybe even the unthinkable of 200 crore nett though its very unlikely.
