A case has been filed after actor Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed and manhandled by crowds during a song launch at a mall in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening.

The event, organized to unveil the track Sahana Sahana from Prabhas-starrer The RajaSaab, was organized without obtaining proper permissions, an official told PTI. The case has been registered against the management of the mall as well as the organizers.

Trouble erupted as the event drew to a close, and Nidhhi was surrounded by people while attempting to enter her car outside the mall. Videos circulating on social media show the visibly shaken actor struggling to move through the crowd as several individuals jostle and push towards her despite the presence of security personnel.

The actor did not react to the incident till the time of going to press.
