EK DEEWANE KI DEEWANIYAT did well as it collected around 85 lakhs nett on its third Friday which now takes the total of the film to 73.50 crore nett. An 80 crore nett lifetime is easy for the film. The third Friday saw very good collections in Delhi/UP with around 35 lakhs nett and there was no drop from the previous day. Bihar also remains strong.

THAMMA collected around 75 lakhs nett on its third Friday which takes the film to 118 crore nett and its looking a 122-123 crore nett finish for the film. The film remains ahead of EK DEEWANE KI DEEWANIYAT at the national chains but business outside is much better for EK DEEWANE KI DEEWANIYAT. The lower the ratio goes in these national chains then the the chances of a bigger hit becomes even more. The three biggest BLOCKBUSTERS post pandemic, KGF - CHAPTER 2, GADAR 2 and PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE, all showed this.

The 200 crore nett Diwali combined is a poor result mainly because of THAMMA. EK DEEWANE KI DEEWANIYAT has kicked higher than it should have but these big holidays are about the bigger film contributing and THAMMA has not been able to do so. Despite Diwali not being upto the mark, its come out better than Eid and Independence Day week but that's mainly due EK DEEWANE KI DEEWANIYAT's over indexing.
