There were two small films also release alongside JOLLY LLB 3 and actually neither are worth reporting as collections are very low. But NISHAANCHI can be a perception play of a so called good film going by the history of this director. So, some facts have to be pointed out. Also it will hardly be known that film called AJEY - THE UNTOLD STORY OF A YOGI has been released but NISHAANCHI would have got some awareness through the critics circle but FACT is it has collected better.

NISHAANCHI has collected around 15 lakhs nett and this has come with a BUY ONE GET ONE free offer. So, you don't have to be too clever to guess the actual collections are even lower. The problem is not that the this film has done such disaster collections as so many do but here you have a director who tends to talk a lot especially about content from the industry when his own content is worse. You should at least deliver something at least respectable and not a disaster at this level if you want to put others down. Here, its disaster collection even with free tickets.

In a way, its good that this has come to the cinemas as actual value can be seen as normally they put it on streaming and play the perception game. Its always the same - this film will be a disaster in cinemas and on satellite but made out to have scored on streaming as if this audience is from outer space. These sort of awful directors like the one of NISHAANCHI have been a huge problem for the industry as some of the talent has seen them as good directors leading them coming into mainstream and then other follow which then becomes a circle leading to disaster content. Hopefully this will change now and if it does, then it will be down to the post pandemic audience.

AJEY - THE UNTOLD STORY OF A YOGI collected 20 lakhs nett and this was without any offers and even the PVR Inox chain did better for this film on the first day.

AJEY - THE UNTOLD STORY OF A YOGI has scored over NISHAANCHI by a margin with better opening collections and a better trend also though it is not going anywhere. The former is touching 1 crore nett in 4 days while the latter is around 55 lakhs nett.

NISHAANCHI will be that perception play and made out that the film has scored post release which is done with practically all the film of this maker. The mouth can lie especially as its a big one like this maker but the box office will never lies.

The director is still probably bad mouthing Hindi cinema when you should be bad mouthing your own trash films which are torture for the paying public but obviously no one will do that, even if its the truth.
