Actor Tamannaah Bhatia’s personal life has often made headlines, with the most recent being her split from actor Vijay Varma.

Now, Tamannaah has opened up about the attention on her love life, even addressing the rumours that had once linked her to India cricketer Virat Kohli and former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq.

Whispers of a romance between her and Virat first began in 2012 after the two shot an advertisement together. Looking back, the actor shared, “I feel so bad because I met him for only one day. I never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki, na unse mili hoon.”

“The internet is a fun place,” she added during a conversation with Lallantop. “According to the [buzz], I was also briefly married to Abdul Razzaq. I’m sorry, sir. Aapke 2-3 bachche hain. It was so embarrassing,” the 35-year-old said.

Tamannaah was first linked to Abdul after they were photographed at a promotional event in 2020. After speculation reached a crescendo, the actor had released a statement to set the record straight. “One day it’s an actor, then it’s a cricketer. These rumours make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree. I don’t appreciate baseless news about my personal life,” she wrote.

Calling such speculations awkward and intrusive, Tamannaah noted: “It was so embarrassing. It’s very awkward when there’s no connection at all. But there’s nothing you can do. People will think whatever they want to think.”
