Actor Vijay Deverakonda was recently diagnosed with dengue and admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment. According to a member of his team, he had been unwell for a few days and was initially thought to have a regular fever. However, once dengue was confirmed, he was hospitalised to ensure a quicker recovery.
“He was in the hospital for three days and has now been discharged,” confirmed a member of Vijay’s team to Hindustan Times. They added, “He’s slowly recovering and is currently resting at home.”
While doctors have advised him to take it easy, the actor is keen to continue promoting his upcoming film. He had shot a few promotional videos in advance, which will be released soon. Media interactions are expected to begin next week, though his team says he’s being cautious and not overexerting himself.
