From the acclaimed Mrs earlier this year to Richie Mehta’s upcoming Boy from Andaman and a big-scale film with Kajol, producer Harman Baweja is throwing his weight behind diverse stories. Among these titles, the producer also has a supernatural romantic series, tentatively titled Jagdalpur, in the pipeline.

The show stars Shaan R Grover, who is seen in Mohit Suri’s blockbuster Saiyaara, and Nepali actor Aditi Budhathoki in lead roles. “It’s a love story with some supernatural elements. It is also a musical, and has some fabulous songs,” beams Grover.

The actor further shares that the series’ shoot has been wrapped up, and it is currently in post-production. If things go as planned, Jagdalpur will stream later this year.

Grover adds, “It’s a VFX-heavy show. Since it’s such a big project, the makers want to make sure that the distribution is good.” The visual effects have reportedly been done by Red Chillies VFX.
