A photo of Jr NTR from Dubai has become a talking point over his considerably leaner look. Many social media users have been speculating whether it is due to the controversial use of the diabetes drug Ozempic for noticeable weight loss.

However, a source tells us, “NTR is healthy and not on Ozempic. He is fine and has been following a new diet.”

This transformation has been for his next outing with filmmaker Prashanth Neel. “He has been working on his look in it and adapted a new fitness regime since February. The transformation is a result of that,” the source adds.

In the viral photo, the 41-year-old is seen posing with hotel staff in a blue shirt and black pants. While some praised his transformation, others raised concerns online.

“What happened to Jr NTR — any health issues?” a Reddit user asked. Another wrote on X: “It’s not looking good when you’re this thin brother. We want chubby tiger back.”

Some fans also defended him, with one stating, “A man can’t even lose weight now without having stupid people make stupid theories.” Another suggested, “He’s playing a role in one of Hrithik’s movies, maybe trying to match up to him.”

The actor will be seen in War 2 in August, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.
