Chhorii 2, which has released today on Amazon Prime Video, rests on an interesting idea. A few aspects are novel and add to the fear element. But the overall writing is weak and some of the developments are laughable. The direction is also not upto the mark and moreover, the VFX is shockingly tacky. Both Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan, however, do complete justice and prove that they can do much more than what is offered to them. Child actor Hardika Sharma is cute and performs well. Gashmeer Mahajani is sincere but is let down by the writing. Saurabh Goyal and Kuldeep Sareen (Taau) leave a huge mark. All in all, Chhorii 2 is a sequel that no one asked for and is not worth watching.
