Looks like The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, will not be released on April 10 as scheduled. While director Maruthi and the production house remain mum, a source from the unit confirmed to us that the Telugu horror comedy will miss its release date.

There was buzz recently that Prabhas’ ankle injury was causing some delay. The actor has also been busy with his project with director Hanu Raghavapudi, rumoured to be titled Fauji. However, the source said, “The Raja Saab will not be released as planned on April 10. However, it’s not due to Prabhas’ health or other commitments.”

The source added, “Maruthi’s film is VFX heavy, and he wants it to look seamless. It has not yet been finalized when the film will release, but there are some good spots available throughout the year. A new date will only be announced once they make good headway on post-production.”
