Actor Aditi Rao Hydari received rave reviews for her performance in Heeramandi (2024). In fact, her gaja gamini walk went viral on social media. However, the actor says that all the limelight did not translate to exciting acting offers.

“After Heeramandi, the way everybody went on and on and how it was loved, I thought I would have a bauchaar of interesting stuff, [but that never happened]... I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ It was really like a drought,” she told filmmaker Farah Khan Kunder on her YouTube show.

A surprised Farah asked: “Really? Tabhi tune shaadi kar li?” Aditi, who got married to actor Siddharth in an intimate ceremony in September last year, giggled and said, “Actually! We had to space it out so that we could get back from work, get married and then get back to work.”
