The repeat run of YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI scored very well on its first day as it racked up collections of over 1 crore nett as it collected 1.1 crore nett. The film was screened on 675 shows across the country and that will go up over the weekend as occupancy was very good. This will lead to a huge jump on second day and it looks pretty much locked the film goes into double digits in the this re run of the film.

The repeat run of YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI did well in its first weekend as it collected around 6.50 crore nett. The film saw strong growth on Saturday and even Sunday saw collections go up by around 25% though generally Sunday again, this week saw strong growth. The film has recorded the best collections for a repeat run outside TUMBBAD but that film was released like a new film with heavy promotional spend.

YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI collected 178 crore nett in 2013 and now it stands at 184.50 crore nett and the next few days will tell if it can get its total to 200 crore nett. The film also had a repeat run in the United Kingdom where it collected very well with £29k coming from from limited shows on just 30 cinemas. These opening numbers are better than the likes of MAIDAAN, SARFIRA, MUNJYA and VEDAA in the United Kingdom and these were all new and wider releases in 2024.

The repeat run of YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI saw a superb hold on its first Monday as it collected around 1.60 crore nett which has taken its total to 7.75 crore nett. The collections on Monday are much better than Friday which sets up the film for a good run. The same film had a release in February 2024 but then it could not collect at all but its a different story altogether this time.

YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI collected 178 crore nett in its original run and with this response to the re run, the target is to get to the 200 crore nett mark. This weekend takes the total to 185.75 crore nett and it can end the week close to the 190 crore nett mark. A good hold on the second Friday will see the 200 crore mark being reached.

If this Monday trend was seen for a new release, you would assume a run of 35-40 crore nett at least as second week should be same or more than the first week. But with a repeat run, that may not be the case.
