It’s real, it’s happening! Filmmaker Priyadarshan has officially confirmed that he will be directing the highly-awaited Hera Pheri 3. The 68-year-old confirmed the news on social media on Thursday evening, while thanking actor Akshay Kumar for his birthday wish: “In return I would like to give you a gift. I’m willing to do Hera Pheri 3. Are you ready Akshay, @suniel.shetty & @pareshrawalofficial (sic).”

Akshay (57) had posted a pic of the duo from the sets of their upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, writing, “Thank you for being a mentor, and the only person who can make chaos look like a masterpiece.”

Speaking to HT City exclusively, the actor said, “Priyan sir has given all of us a fabulous surprise by offering to direct Hera Pheri 3. What a fabulous start to 2025.”
