MUFASA: THE LION KING is trending well at the box office with good holds on the second week. The film collected 62 crore nett in the first week and has collected 28 crore nett so far in the second week and its looking to clear 40 crore nett in the second week with the aid of holidays. Basically, it will be 100 crore nett plus in two weeks.

The film has done very well to get here for the 7 crore nett first day opening with this period of vacations for its target audience being very beneficial. The negative is the film in Hindi circuits which have contributed far less than South. Mumbai is still relatively better but the others have not performed.

Mumbai is the best collecting circuit but both Tamil Nadu and Nizam/Andhra are better than Delhi/UP. Overall, the film has scored best in Tamil Nadu and Nizam/Andhra. The film stands at 90 crore nett till date.
