Singham Again First Look: Presenting Deepika Padukone As Cop Shakti Shetty
Box Office India Trade Network

SINGHAM AGAIN has hit the 100 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit becoming the thirteenth film to do so and joins a list of BLOCLBUSTER films when it is just about an AVERAGE fare. This is basically reflective of the Diwali factor and the SINGHAM brand in this area as the out performance in Mumbai circuit is huge.

The first film to hit 100 crore nett was PK in 2014 with BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION still holding the record at 180 crore nett which at the moment looks an impossible task for any film unless PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE manages to beat it. No doubt PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE initial is going to be a record in the circuit but to beat the BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION total, it needs a long run post the initial. The next best after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION is STREE 2 with 158 crore nett and the only other film above 150 crore nett.

The numbers came back in this circuit on Diwali as BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 and SINGHAM AGAIN combined will have a total higher than the 180 crore nett of BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION. The downside is that post pandemic feeding (corporate bookings) has become sort of a norm for many films and Mumbai is the hub of this feeding with Mumbai city and Pune leading the way for tearing tickets so some these films are higher than the fair value collections.

The 100 crore nett films in Mumbai are as follows.
2014 - PK
2016 - Dangal
2017 - Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Tiger Zinda Hai
2018 - Sanju
2020 - Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior
2022- KGF - Chapter 2
2023 - Pathaan, Gadar 2, Jawan, Animal
2024 - Stree 2, Singham Again

SINGHAM AGAIN collected 6.25 crore nett in its fourth week dropping 60% from the previous week. The film has now taken its overall total to 234 crore nett which is just about an average number for the film.

The film will also benefit from Cinema Lovers Day on its fifth Friday and this could help it towards a 240 crore nett. Like BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3. it will have do it all this week due to the release of PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE on Thursday. The film is almost 8 crore nett behind BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 in four weeks and its likely it will end around 10 crore nett behind in the final tally.

The film has hit the 100 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit but stands at only 43 crore nett while East Punjab is worse with only 14 crore nett. outside Mumbai circuit the numbers are pretty poor in all circuits and that includes likes of CP Berar and Bihar which are single screen circuits.
