Box Office India Trade Network

THE SABARMATI REPORT did well in its second weekend collecting 7 crore nett apprx which is more than its first weekend which was around 6.50 crore nett. The film stands at around 18 crore nett after ten days.

The film showed more muted growth this Sunday compared to last Sunday but it was last Sunday that those external political factors came into play giving the film a boost. The film will go over the 25 crore nett mark and may have a shot at 30 crore nett.

The collections for THE SABARMATI REPORT till date are as follows.
Friday - 1,30,00,000
Saturday - 2,10,00,000
Sunday - 3,00,00,000
Monday - 1,10,00,000
Tuesday - 1,20,00,000
Wednesday - 1,40,00,000
Thursday - 1,15,00,000
Week One - 11,25,00,000

Saturday - 2,60,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend -  7,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 18,25,00,000

The new release of the week  I WANT TO TALK collected 20 lakhs nett on day one and around 35 lakhs nett on its second and third day for a weekend total of 90 lakhs nett. The film was basically a disaster before release as you are not going to get people into theatres and pay to watch such bad content.

The re release of KARAN ARJUN saw a muted response with 50 lakhs nett over the weekend but it was better than PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 which did hardly 15 lakhs nett. KAL HO NAA HO is decent with collections around the 3 crore nett mark after ten days.
