STREE 2 is coming to and end of its run as collections dropped when JIGRA and VICKY VIDYA KA WOH WALA VIDEO released but the run had been phenomenal till then. Even as late as week eight, the film had the second best collections and even that was only second to GADAR - EK PREM KATHA which was released in the single screen era.

STREE 2 has set an insane total which will be very tough for the original Hindi films to catch for sometime but PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE is likely to come on December 5 which will challenge. Hence, despite this huge total, it is still not sure if it'll emerge the biggest HIT or grosser of the year. Any other year without a film a like PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE, there would be little chance of STREE 2 collections being touched.

There is a lot of talk about mass films today with most unable to understand what is a mass film as they think its about the elements in the film when actually its about reach into the heavy populated areas of the country. Its like THE KASHMIR FILES is a bigger mass film than some of these South films which are claimed to be mass films simply because of its reach in mass populated areas. Post pandemic, its KGF - CHAPTER 2, GADAR 2 and now STREE 2 which are the three films which have really penetrated into the Hindi masses.
