DEVARA - PART 1 (Hindi) had healthy gains on the national holiday as it collected in the 6-6.25 crore nett range which is a jump of around 55%. but as it was a huge national holiday, the gains could have been more. The growth was less in Gujarat maybe as Navratri is about to start and the circuit tends to suffer in that period.

The film has now taken its total to over 40 crore nett and its looking like a week which will be 43 crore nett plus and then its about where the film can go from there. The trend of film is so so which means its all comes down to the business it can do in the second week as it will be tough when the two new releases come in the third week.

The film should be able to do 60 crore nett but if it can towards 70 crore nett that paints a better picture of the film. DEVARA - PART 1 also goot a boost in Nizam/Andhra on Wednesday due to the national holiday as collections were down from Monday. The all India business of the film is close to 200 crore nett but eventually the film is called DEVARA - PART 1 which is the fashion today with pre planned sequels. It now remains to be seen if the numbers are enough for part 2 to happen.  

There is no Hindi break out for the film as when this happens, it practically ensures a second part and here, a second part may be tougher.

DEVARA - PART 1 (Hindi) has done decent business in its first week collecting almost 43 crore nett with the weekdays adding well due to the national holiday though taking that out collections were on the lower side. The film collected 2.25 crore nett on the last day of the week which is also on the lower side as the Navratri period started.

The drop came on the last day of the week which was expected after the big holiday but this drop also ensures the film finishing more towards the 60 crore nett mark rather than the 60 crore nett mark. Even the 60 crore nett depends on where the film lands on the second Friday. The film has outperformed in Bihar and Odisha though collections came down after the weekend.

The all India business of the film is around 200 crore nett in the first week with Nizam/Andhra also seeing dropping collections. The last day of the week was just 4.25-4.50 crore nett in Nizam/Andhra there while other markets have come down to very low collections. It remains to be seen where the film goes from here but the trend is pretty weak and has been saved by solid initial numbers.

DEVARA - PART 1 (Hindi) collected in the 1.75-2 crore nett range on its second Friday which is a drop from the previous day but considering the film had a heavy ratio of business coming from the circuits, you take this drop as it could have been more even though there are no films released.

The film has now collected 44.50 crore nett in eight days and its heading for around 60 crore nett which makes it an AVERAGE fare at the box office as far as the Hindi box office is concerned. The final number is a plus if you go by expectations pre release but not so good considering the opening day the film got.

The film should get advantage of Puja period in East over the weekdays. The film is not doing well in West Bengal but the numbers should come back in Bihar and Odisha over the holiday period. The film will manage similar numbers to SALAAR and ADIPURUSH in Odisha despite other circuits being much less.
