Visfot was supposed to be released on September 6 on Jio Cinema but was dropped a day before (September 5) after it got leaked. It is the story of two characters from different strata of society and what happens when their lives get intertwined. The film begins on a tense note and once the track of the other hero begins, the tension levels go higher. Unfortunately, there are too many loose ends in the script, especially in the first half. The makers intended to show the protagonists collide but in order to reach that point, things shockingly happen at convenience. The climax is slightly unimaginative and the cop track doesn't work. The performances make the film slightly better. Riteish Deshmukh, known for his comic timing, doesn't do comedy even for a moment and yet, gives an impressive performance. Fardeen Khan is slightly raw but puts up a good act overall. Krystle Dsouza has a fine screen presence while Priya Bapat performs ably. Sheeba Chadha is adorable and plays a difficult part with remarkable ease. Nachiket Purnapatre (Manya) is the surprise of the film. Seema Biswas (Acid Tai) is terrifying. Satyajeet Kadam (Waghmare),  Purnendu Bhattacharya (Inspector J K Fernandes) and Arjun Aneja (Javed Khan) are okay. All in all, Visfot is an average flick.

My rating - ** ½ out of 5!
