SARFIRA collected a very poor 17 crore nett plus in its first week and even this came because of Muharram holiday over the weekdays which kept the weekday collections at higher levels than they should have been at.

The last Akshay Kumar release in this zone, MISSION RANIGANJ, collected around 50 lakhs nett more in the first week but basically in the same range The genre of the film was pretty much the same as well with both films being social dramas. MISSION RANIGANJ went on to do 34 crore nett which will be impossible here due to new releases.

The release this week BAD NEWZ has opened well and the next DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE is sure to take a big start and even after there is a flow which means a lifetime total of 25 crore nett is a difficult task for SARFIRA.
