KALKI 2898 AD (Hindi) had a superb hold on its third Friday considering that two new films released. The film saw very strong collections post the afternoon and remained the best collecting film in Hindi circuits with around 3.50 crore nett.

The drop is 12% from the day before which is very good considering two major releases which hit showcasing badly. This now takes the film to 225 crore nett and it will be a very strong weekend for the film, The third Friday ensures that the film will now cross 250 crore.

The third week of the film now has chance to hit the 25 crore nett mark. The numbers remain strong in all the major centres. Even Gujarat is doing well and is probably the first film to actually do well in the circuit this year.

KILL had a fair hold on its second Friday colleting 85 lakhs nett as showcasing dropped. The film is doing very well in Kerala and will actually be the second biggest grosser of the year after FIGHTER as business ends at over 1 crore nett. Its not much of a market for Hindi films and very different in taste from the normal Hindi circuits. KILL is now at almost 12 crore nett after eight days.
