Chalti Rahe Zindagi, which was released on Zee5, is the story of multiple characters living in and around a housing complex and how their life changes during the lockdown. The film is just 102 minutes long and has some heartfelt moments. The track of the bread seller is lovely and the initial track of two individuals forced to stay with each other's spouse makes for a novel watch. But overall, the film is drab because it talks about pandemic challenges and hardly anyone wants to go back to those dark days. No wonder that none of the films on this topic has worked with the audience. The direction is weak and it has a very low-budget feel. Also, the idea of not showing the spouses is a very bad idea and backfires. The performances make the film bearable. Manjari Fadnis looks stunning and proves that she's a fine talent. Siddhanth Kapoor is a revelation. Seema Biswas gets into the skin of her character. Indraneil Sengupta, Barkha Sengupta, Rohit Khandelwal (Akash; reporter), Priyal Pandorwala (Ankita), Flora Jacob (Sushma), Trimala Adhikari (Champa), Vaibhav Vijay Anand (Dr Junaid Ali) and Anaya Sivan (Siya) also do well. All in all, Chalti Rahe Zindagi is not worth watching.
