Recently, Abdu Rozik took to social media to announce his engagement to Amira. The Tajikistani singer-influencer then posted a video on Insta sharing how the phase turned into a “nightmare” for him, thanks to the constant trolling. The 20-year-old wrote: “We went public after a lot of discussion and reluctance, and unfortunately it is going from best news to a nightmare. People get married who are deaf, blind, no arms no legs but because I’m small you make fun of me (sic).”

Talking to us, Rozik says, “It has become a nightmare because everyone loved me on social media and TV shows, but now, since I’m marrying a tall girl, I’ve become a joke.”

He had mentioned in the post that people should realise that his fiancĂ©e is also reading the comments. Ask how Amira (20) is dealing with it, and he says she’s not taking it well: “She is very upset. The trolling has come as a shock to her, as she had never seen people troll me or write anything as such on social media. Even her family is shocked.”

Ask if he’s ever been subjected to heightism before this juncture, and Rozik says, “I don’t get trolled on a day-to-day basis. People love me and my height was never an issue until now. But I guess when I announced my engagement to a taller woman, people started mocking me.”
