Last month, HT City reported that actor Tamannaah Bhatia has been roped in as the leading lady in filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s next. Now, we have learnt more exclusive details about the untitled project, which will release on an OTT platform.

“The plot is based on a true story and will cover a major crime case from Mumbai. It will be a thriller drama,” a source informs, adding, “The sequences have been shot in Pune, Bombay and Agra.”

About the casting of the film, other than Bhatia, actor Ridhima Pandit has also come on board. “There isn’t going to be any specific male lead. The female actors are going to carry the film on their shoulders,” adds the source.

Furthermore, the film will showcase Bhatia in a new avatar. “She will be portraying both the younger and older versions of her character, thus covering two generations. The project will show her in two different time zones,” reveals the insider.

The official announcement for the film is likely to be made in August, with the trailer dropping next month. It is slated for release in November this year.
