CREW collected 3.75 crore nett on Tuesday and had a normal 10-12% drop with the collections now standing at 37.50 crore nett. The first week is looking to be 43-44 crore nett which is a good number.

The film is a success and it could even go on to be a HIT but there are huge obstacles as the release date may not allow the film much of a run. This has not mattered much post the pandemic as lack of content has meant most successful films have got the run needed. Here the problem is that the film is getting twelve days before two huge Eid releases which are pretty certain to leave CREW with limited screenings.

CREW has a different audience as compared to the Eid releases as it has a huge female turnout but the issue will be screenings. This also makes the second Friday even more important as it needs to hold the Thursday number and cant really go down as it will be a shortened second week.

The film is trending better than TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA as the first week will come out better for CREW despite the former having a sort of holiday midweek with Valentines Day. The harder part will be to match the business if TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA post week one not just because of Eid releases but also because that film had a wider audience in the sense that it was not female heavy. The ladies factor has helped overseas as it goes towards $4 million first week.

CREW collected well in the first week as it amassed a total of 43.50 crore nett but there were drops towards the end of the week. The failure of mass circuits to really pick up on Sunday had an effect at the end of the week.

The film had held up well enough on Monday and Tuesday but started to feel the pinch afterwards. Still, there is no major release this week and going by where the business of CREW is coming, it is a more of a weekend film. It got some decent numbers in the mass circuits over the weekend for the genre and it would have been a big surprise if it went on further in these circuits.

The film has to hold at the Thursday levels on its second Friday which should happen as there is no new competition. Saturday is sure to be a big jump but its about the Friday number and how much it jumps from the eighth day. 

The week will be curtailed due to the Eid releases and that is why the second weekend is so important for the film. The lifetime of the film will be dependent on what happens to the film post Eid. The film has managed slightly better first week business than TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA and that film had incentives on the weekdays in the first week itself.
