CREW had a good first weekend of around 29.50 crore nett boosted by the Good Friday holiday on Friday. The collections remained flat over the weekend as Friday was a holiday and it has a heavy multiplex contribution from the big centes. So, Sunday was always going to struggle for growth.

CREW had a good to decent weekend practically all over with Delhi NCR and East Punjab leading the way. The film scored over GODZILLA x KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE in every Hindi circuit barring the Eastern circuits. The gaps in Mumbai, Delhi/UP and East Punjab were pretty big in the favour of CREW. The extra 10 crore nett that GODZILLA x KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE got over the weekend was due to the business in South India.

The collections of the film are very similar to TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA if we take out the holiday on Friday. That film picked up 26 crore nett apprx and it would have been a similar number here if it had not been a holiday weekend.

The weekend results are good but it still needs to run well till Eid to emerge a success. There will be a drop today as compared to Friday but it remains to be seen where it settles as it needs to maintain levels where numbers go to good levels next weekend. The film has done even better in Overseas with around $2.75 million as it got a Easter boost there, especially on Friday.
