Following Atlee, who delivered a blockbuster with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, yet another Tamil filmmaker will be working with a Khan in Bollywood. Director A R Murugadoss will be teaming up with Salman Khan for his upcoming film, which will mark their debut collaboration. Interestingly, Murugadoss had previously directed Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Akshay Kumar in Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.

Speaking exclusively to us, Murugadoss says, “Salman and I had discussed this script five years ago, but due to circumstances, we couldn’t proceed at that time. Recently, he asked for another narration. After that, he said that the script gave him a good vibe and asked if we could start work on it immediately.”

The film, he says, will be an action-packed one. “In addition to high-octane action sequences, it will be packed with emotions and also carry a powerful social message. It will be a pan-Indian film. Audiences can expect to see a new side of Salman Khan in this film,” he says.

The director adds that he will start shooting the Salman project once he wraps up work on his film with Sivakarthikeyan, referred to as #SK23, which is currently on floors.
