Celebs are no strangers to trolling. Just a few days before International Women’s Day (March 8), actor Celina Jaitly took to Instagram to share a letter talking about her most trolled photograph.

The image, capturing Jaitly in a swimsuit while breastfeeding one of her twins, prompted negative comments questioning her parenting choices.

She recalls that she “was in utter disbelief” when this happened. The actor adds, “No matter how much you love and care for your children, it can be difficult to hear criticism about your parenting. While the bikini had a lot to do with the trolling, I was also attacked for placing one of my twin babies next to me and not holding him in my arms.” 

Last month, Jaitly, who took to social media to talk about the Israel-Hamas war, was subjected to comments like ‘Your job is to wear a bikini rather than comment on international affairs’.

The 42-year-old feels that it is high time people started respecting women and their choices. “No matter how much we have achieved in our lives, we have to defend every stance constantly and are judged for everything we do. But my message to all trolls and bullies is that no one heals themselves by wounding another,” the actor ends.
