Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child. The duo made the announcement on February 29 in a collab post on Instagram.

“September 2024,” read the graphic post. Padukone is reported to be in her second trimester.

Speculations about Padukone’s pregnancy started doing the rounds when she was clicked hiding her apparent baby bump during the recent 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), and later at Mumbai airport with a visible bump.

Padukone, 38, who opened 2024 with Fighter, has Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas lined up this year. Singh has started work on Don 3 opposite Kiara Advani. The couple is also slated to co-star as Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao and Lady Singham in Singham Again, the latest movie in director Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, later this year.
