A public event of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff to promote their latest film (Bade Miyan Chote Miyan) in Lucknow ended in a ruckus. The two actors were promoting their film at the Clock Tower in the Hussainabad area of Chowk, Lucknow, on Monday evening.

Trouble started when Akshay began throwing T-shirts into the crowd as people clamoured to grab them. As people broke iron barricades to get onto the stage, a contingent of Lucknow Police and Pradeshik Armed Constabulary (PAC) resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd. In the melee, someone also tossed a stone on the stage, narrowly missing Akshay. The event was wrapped up post the stampede with both actors leaving the location amid tight security.
