Fighter Box Office Collection Day 9: Hrithik Roshan And Deepika Padukone's Film Enters The Rs 150 Crore Club
Box Office India Trade Network

FIGHTER has done pretty well in its second weekend collecting over 27 crore nett and these collections can be called good considering the collections on Monday which was a huge drop and only a little above 7 crore nett. This has now taken the film to 163 crore nett and it is sustaining well.

The film is on the lines of a Hollywood action films where the weekend does well and the weekdays settle at lower numbers. So, it will be no surprise to see a drop on Monday which is little more than normal. The film has also settled in the mass pockets on low numbers as the smaller centres fade out of the picture. A CI collected 40 lakh nett on day one and the second Sunday was just 25% less with 30 lakhs nett. The biggest centres of the circuit Indore had collections pretty much similar to day one. The Sunday growth gets curtailed as a low ratio of business is coming from places which grow big on Sunday.

FIGHTER is going to do business which will be lower than expectations due to the initial but the film has not crashed and is running well now. The expectations were huge and these results would have looked better before those 500 crore nett films came last year. But now, the test will be when the new release comes this week. If it manages to get through this week, it will continue to run through February which could mean a 200 crore nett or close total for the film.
