ARTICLE 370 has done very well in its first weekend collecting 22 crore nett with solid growth on Saturday and even Sunday despite business being heavily lopsided to the bigger centres. A 20% plus jump on Sunday is a good result nowadays unless the film is doing big numbers in mass circuits.

The Saturday growth was far more than the 43% collections showed as the discounted rates pushed the numbers on day one. The film probably got 3 times its normal admits on the first day due to the low rates. The trend over the weekend suggests the film should hold well enough to become a HIT.

The film has scored in both the major circuits of Mumbai and Delhi/UP. Though the performance is less in mass belts it can still be called healthy considering the film is not in that entertaining zone and at the same time, its also not gone into the zone of the THE KASHMRI FILES and THE KERALA STORY.

Saturday - 7,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,25,00,000 apprx

CRAKK could not do much after the first day as it collected 7.50 crore nett over its first weekend and the film could not even grow on Sunday after the huge drop on Saturday. The film basically benefitted on day one due to cheap tickets and that could be as other films were running house full in the evening.

The Sunday is very dull which ensures there will not be much business coming on the weekdays and it will be lights out after the first week.
