MERRY CHRISTMAS collected a low 12.50 crore nett in week one. The film had started with the same collections as HANUMAN on day one but while its just 12.50 crore nett for this film, the latter has gone to over 20 crore nett.

The film managed some respectable numbers over the weekend and Monday but it was all downhill from there and now its just about if it can reach the 20 crore nett mark. That depends on the second Friday which has to hold. If there is a 20-25% drop, then that 20 crore nett number is pretty much impossible with FIGHTER coming on Thursday.

HANUMAN (Hindi) collected a good 22 crore nett in its first week with a strong trend as day seven is pretty much similar to the first day. The film had that boost due to the holiday period where some circuits really out performed on day 3 and day four. But by the end of the week, it was pretty much back to normal.

It did look like Gujarat, Rajasthan and CI were going to put up huge numbers but that has not been the case but a good hold on day eight should ensure HIT status for the film. The film will have a good run for a few weeks if the second Friday can collect similar to Thursday or even more.
