Actor Suniel Shetty has joined Shauna Gautam’s directorial debut starring star kids Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. A reliable source close to the production reveals, “Suniel plays an integral part in the movie. He is playing a character that is going to be very interesting.” The movie is soon going to go on the floors.

This is Ibrahim and Khushi’s second flick after Sarzameen (yet to be released) and Archies, respectively.

Furthermore, after sharing screen space with Kajol in his debut film, Ibrahim will get to share screen space with Suniel in his next.

Suniel didn’t respond to our calls and messages for the same.

Interestingly, Suniel has worked with Ibrahim and Khushi’s parents. While Suniel and Saif Ali Khan (Ibrahim’s father) have done a few films together such as Humse Badhkar Kaun , Pehchaan, Ek Tha Rajaa and others, Suniel has also worked with Amrita Singh (Ibrahim’s mother) in Rakht, moreover, Suniel and Sridevi (Khushi’s mother) had worked together in an unreleased movie titled Bodyguard.

Coming to the director, Shauna was an associate director on Karan Johar (who also happens to be producing this yet to be titled)’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. She was also Rajkumar Hirani’s assistant director on Sanju.

Earlier in an interview with us, Khushi spoke about her fashionista tag, she said, "I never really felt the pressure to look or dress a certain way. I don't feel like a pressure to fit into any box when it comes to fashion. And I think that's the best part of it. I think people like what I wear because I, don't try very hard to be liked by other people."
