Box Office India Trade Network

SALAAR (Hindi) collected 7.50 crore nett on the last day of the week giving it a first week total of 93 crore nett plus which is a good number. The last film of the hero Prabhas, ADIPURUSH, did 127.50 crore nett lifetime in Hindi but was a rejected film and this is sure to cross that number.

The holds of the film are pretty good over the weekdays and it should do well enough over the second weekend though where it will go will depend on the what happens after the New Year. The film could have done better business as far as the Hindi circuits if it did not clash with DUNKI.

The best numbers for the film are in Gujarat, Odisha and CP, CI and Rajasthan. The business in Maharashtra is not up to the mark considering this is where the South dubbed films lead.

The collections of SALAAR till date are as follows.
Friday - 15,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 16,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 20,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 15,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 9,50,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 9,25,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 93,25,00,000 apprx
----------------------------------------------------
SALAAR has collected 288 crore nett across India in all languages which is a good number though expectations were higher for the film. The film is on course to be the highest grosser in Nizam/Andhra outside movies by director S S Rajamoulli. Only RRR and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUCION have reached the 200 crore mark in Nizam/Andhra and maybe this film could be the third.

The film should eventually hit the 400 crore nett mark as the Hindi version is good and this figure has only been reached by around 5-6 films from South India. Again, this looks good on paper but the film was expected to bring in higher numbers as eventually the business may only be 50% of KGF - CHAPTER 2.

The film also grossed around $12.5 million in the first eight days (Thursday release overseas). The worldwide number for Salaar in all formats is around 448 crore with 344 crore (288 cr nett) in India and 104 crore ($12.5m) in Overseas.

The business of SALAAR in India of all versions is as follows
Nizam Andhra - 1,45,00,00,000 apprx
Mysore/Karnataka - 29,00,00,000 apprx
Tamil Nadu - 12,75,00,000 apprx
Kerala - 10,38,00,000
Hindi Circuits - 91,00,00,000 apprx (including regional versions but not Hindi version from South)
TOTAL - 2,88,13,00,000 apprx
