Salaar Box Office Collection Day 3: Progress Report On Prabhas' Film
Box Office India Trade Network

SALAAR (Hindi) has done good business over the first weekend with collections of 52 crore nett. The trend is positive with good growth on Sunday though this could have been more if the film had a bigger single screen release.

These numbers of lower than the likes of ADIPURUSH and SAAHO but because SALAAR clashed with DUNKI, these collection are quite good and the trend is also better than the likes of ADIPURUSH and SAAHO. The collections are good in all circuits with likes of Gujarat, CP Berar, Bihar and Odisha leading the way.

There is a holiday on Monday which should ensure good collections. The film has put up big numbers in the South but the trends outside Nizam/Andhra are not that good. So, the Hindi circuits will be crucial in terms of where this film goes in the long run. The all India collections of the film over the first weekend will be in the 190 crore nett range which is second highest this year after JAWAN taking all formats into account.

The collections of SALAAR till date are as follows.
Friday - 15,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 16,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 20,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 52,00,00,000 apprx
---------------------------------
SALAAR has collected a huge 189 crore nett across all version of the film as it put up big numbers in Nizam/Andhra and Mysore. This is the second highest weekend this year after JAWAN which went to 195 crore nett all on all formats.

The South is really depending on where Nizam/Andhra goes as the trend is not so strong in the other South markets. Its likely to be about what happens in Nizam/Andhra and the Hindi version in the long run. Although these numbers are huge, there were likely to be higher expectations from the makers due to the KGF phenomena in the South.

The film also grossed around $9.5 million in overseas for the three-four days (Thursday release) which is actually the same number as DUNKI though the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer will hold up much better from today onwards. The worldwide numbers for SALAAR in all formats is around 304 crore with 225 crore (189 cr nett) in India and 79 crore ($9.5m) in Overseas.

The busienss of SALAAR in India is as follows.
Nizam/Andhra - 1,00,00,00,000 apprx
Mysore/Karnataka - 19,50,00,000 apprx
Tamil Nadu - 9,50,00,000 apprx
Kerala - 7,75,00,000 apprx
