After back-to-back shoots and projects, Ali Fazal took a “much-needed” break from his hectic schedule to visit Himachal Pradesh with his wife, actor Richa Chadha. The actor says it was a refreshing escape for the couple.
Calling the getaway “amazing,” Fazal says, “It had been a long time since we had gone on a holiday, and both of us wanted some time off from work, away from the hustle of the city. Thankfully, the experience of visiting Himachal Pradesh was beautiful. The serene surroundings helped us unwind and rejuvenate before diving back into our professional commitments.”
While Ali emphasizes the importance of taking time off to recharge, he acknowledges the reality that it is difficult for two actors to plan such escapades. “Given the schedule of our shoots and other work commitments, it does get difficult to plan holidays with Richa. Moreover, our schedules don’t match because both of us keep travelling for work. Unfortunately, this year I had to travel abroad a lot; hence, it became even harder,” shares the Mirzapur actor, adding, “We’re trying and hope to find a way out to plan more trips like this.”
The couple spent most of their time together and engaged in several activities. “We went for a yoga retreat, which was totally worth it. We also did a lot of other things, like reading books, discussing our notes, catching up on cinema and simply discussing random stuff,” adds Fazal.
Back from vacation, the he 37-year-old is now set to dive right into projects. “I have a packed schedule, and one of the projects that I am really looking forward to is (filmmaker) Anurag Basu’s film. There are some more projects that we will announce soon,” he ends.
