ANIMAL collected an outstanding 33 crore nett over its third weekend taking its total to over 450 crore nett. The weekend was held back by Sunday as the film did not grow much like last Sunday. The film is probably feeling the heat on Sundays with lesser family audience. The collections were at a lower level than last week but still the growth was similar.

The film should go back to normal trajectory over the weekdays at until Wednesday. The third weekend was the third highest ever after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and GADAR 2 but it may not be so high up in the list over the week due to DUNKI releasing on Thursday.

The film basically has three more days to put up good numbers and then there will be an inevitable fall due to the new releases. The 500 crore nett mark probably depends on the fate of these two films (DUNKI and SALAAR). If these films don't work, then ANIMAL will get a new lease of life in January.
