ANIMAL collected almost 12 crore nett on its third Saturday which took its overall total to 438 crore nett with another big day on Sunday to come. If Sunday can get that 25-30% growth this week, the film would be looking at a 35 crore plus weekend.

The main comparison for ANIMAL is GADAR 2 as both films released on a Friday whereas JAWAN and PATHAAN had extended first weeks. ANIMAL did better than GADAR 2 on its third Friday but was lower on the Saturday. The overall collections lead GADAR 2 by around 6-7 crore nett after 16 days of release. The 500 crore nett mark is very dependent on what happens post the third week and how it can collect when DUNKI and SALAAR release and whether it can get a decent number of shows in its fourth week.
