ANIMAL maintained well on Tuesday as it collected 11.25 crore nett and the trend on the weekdays looks pretty much the same as last week. The film has hit the 400 crore nett mark and its second week stands at 111 crore nett with two more days of the week left.

This second week looks to be heading for roughly the 130 crore nett mark and that will see the film at around 420 crore nett. Then it remains to be seen where the third Friday lands for the 500 crore nett and it will be a plus will be if this time, Sunday behaves better.

The film could possibly be the highest total in a couple of circuits especially Nizam/Andhra and that is only Hindi version and not including Telugu. BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION was the first 500 crore nett film and now, despite films going ahead of it, the Mumbai circuit numbers still remains a dream as that film did 180 crore nett and for everyone else, 150 crore nett is proving to be tough.

ANIMAL is probably targeting the numbers of TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR which remains the highest original Hindi film in Mumbai circuit.

ANIMAL collected 9.75 crore nett on Wednesday in Hindi which is another steady day and the film still remains near double digits despite being on day thirteen. The total of the film now stands at 410 crore nett apprx

This film has now comfortably crossed the 100 crore nett mark in Mumbai and Delhi/UP will do the same in the next few days. For these two circuits, 100 crore nett is a given for a big film but this film could see more two more circuits hitting the half century which has never happened before. Four circuits above 50 crore nett will be a first for a film in Hindi.

The second week looks to be heading for a 130 crore nett which would be the third highest second week ever.

ANIMAL has collected a 664 crore worldwide in Hindi and its probably heading towards the 800 crore plus mark making it the third higher worldwide grosser in Hindi after JAWAN and PATHAAN. The overseas numbers see record numbers in Australia and over indexing in USA/Canada with Canada being out of this world.

The over indexing in US/Canada is probably because Gulf is less. The film has done very well in Gulf but its not like the other main markets in Overseas and this is why US/Canada is around more than 50% of the overseas circuit.

The film has seen a very good contribution in Telugu overseas as going over $1 million is pretty crazy. The Andhra crowd watching the film in overseas is much more than the numbers suggest as most of this audience is watching the original Hindi film which is propelling Hindi numbers in US and Australia. The total in all formats after 12 days is 727 crore.
