Preity Zinta gets nostalgic as 'Dil Chahta Hai' turns 20

Mumbai: Actor and entrepreneur Preity Zinta has purchased a super-premium apartment in Rustomjee Parishram tower in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area for more than Rs. 17 crores.

The transaction for the apartment, spread over nearly 1,721 sq ft on the 11th floor of the under-construction tower, values it at over Rs. 1.15 lakh per sq ft on the basis of a carpet area of 1,474 sq ft. As per the deal, Zinta has also got two car parking slots of combined area, topping 90 sq ft.

The actor has paid more than Rs. 85 lakhs as stamp duty for the registration of the deal that took place on Monday, as per documents accessed through Indextap.com.

Zinta has bought the property from developer Rustomjee Group’s listed entity Keystone Realtors. The project, which involves redevelopment of a housing society, is spread over nearly half an acre. The 22-storey tower in Bandra suburb has 17 habitable floors.

An email query sent to Rustomjee Group chairman and managing director Boman Irani and text message to Zinta remained unanswered till the time of going to press.
