JAWAN has smashed records in Mysore circuit by an insane margin as it will do at least 12 crore nett more than PATHAAN at the very least. This number becomes even bigger as PATHAAN had beaten the previous record holder DANGAL by a huge margin itself.
PATHAAN was the first Hindi film to cross the 30 crore nett mark in Mysore and now JAWAN has cruised past the 40 crore nett and may even go to 50 crore nett or at least be very close. Outside JAWAN and PATHAAN, there are only four other films to go over 20 crore nett which puts into perspective how big these numbers of JAWAN are.
Mysore will be the third best performing circuit for JAWAN as far as the Hindi version goes and it will be the first Hindi film to cross 100 crore nett in South India. It will earn 110 crore nett in Hindi and around 65 crore nett in dubbed languages format for a total of 175 crore nett in South India. This makes it the second best non South film after AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER. The shortfall is mainly down to Kerala where JAWAN will do less than half of AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER.
Overall, JAWAN will probably be the 14th or 15th highest collecting film in South India and that includes all films from the South Indian film industries. The business in the South is very similar to PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01.
The top ten films in Mysore are as follows.
1. Jawan - 44,50,00,000 (till date)
2. Pathaan - 35,77,00,000
3. Dangal - 27,81,00,000
4. Uri - 25,00,00,000
5, Padmaawat - 23,87,00,000
6. PK - 23,85,50,000
7. Sanju - 19,79,25,000
8. War 18,57,50,000
9. Tiger Zinda Hai - 18,50,50,000
10. Dhoom 3 - 17,40,00,000
