JAWAN (Hindi) had a super strong third weekend and continues to put up big numbers as it brings in another crore nett plus and becomes only the third film to do so after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and GADAR 2. The third weekend collections were 32.75 crore nett taking the film to 492 crore nett.

The drop is around 60% from the weekend which is excellent although the week will show a bigger drop due to week two having a holiday period on Monday and Tuesday. JAWAN should be hitting the 500 crore nett before the week is out and then should head towards the 525 crore nett mark.

The film has already set new records in some circuits and a couple more should come though in Mumbai and Delhi/UP it will not reach number one as BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION (Mumbai) and GADAR 2 (Delhi/UP)  will remain top in the two biggest circuits. The weaker pockets are likely to be East Punjab and CI where it will stay below PATHAAN and maybe even Rajasthan might stay lower.

JAWAN (Hindi) is heading towards the 1000 crore mark as it collects around 919 crore worldwide in eighteen days as overseas numbers stand close to $40 million., The numbers in Australia and Gulf are heading for ALL TIME RECORDS and its same for smaller markets like Singapore and Bangladesh. The latter will see the $1 million mark breached for the first time as the film stands at around $850k so far.

The overseas will fall short of PATHAAN but that will be compensated with higher business in India which should take the film to 1000 crore by the time its run is over making it the second film to do so and both are Shah Rukh Khan starrers post pandemic.

The film has done very well in languages especially the Telugu version. The Tamil version is also huge as it smashed records by margins of the biggest Hindi films in Tamil like DANGAL and PADMAAVAT. But due to Tamil faces, the Tamil version was expected to fare better than Telugu which has not been the case. In all formats JAWAN is cruising towards the 1000 crore mark and should hit it today (Monday).
