JAWAN (Hindi) saw a super strong hold on its third Friday as it collected 7 crore nett which is pretty much similar to the Thursday as the film again stabilized well going into the weekend. It will be a  comfortable 500 crore nett by the end of the week now. The film hay have huge numbers on the board but this hold was important as next week, there is competition and that's when the film will take a hit.

The film continues to put up superb numbers down South but now the contributions in terms of ratio are more near normal normal levels. The best markets from the Hindi circuits remain Delhi/UP, West Bengal and Assam as the latter two head for comfortable records.

The total collections of the film are 467 crore nett so far and Saturday should see a huge jump. And it could be a 30 crore nett plus weekend. There were two Hindi releases this week with THE GREAT INDIAN FAMILY and SUKHEE but they did not really collect much.

JAWAN (Hindi) showed solid growth of 55-60% on its third Saturday as the film again went into double digits and collected over 11 crore nett taking the overall total to a huge 478 crore nett. The growth was not as much as last Saturday but that was probably because Friday was a huge hold with collections hardly dropping.

The third week will see West Bengal as the best performer as it becomes the third highest collecting circuit for the film after Mumbai and Delhi/UP.  PATHAAN had set huge records in West Bengal by beating the previous record by 7 crore nett and now its looks like that JAWAN will beat the PATHAAN record by at least 7 crore nett. The second and third week collections in West Bengal are and will be far higher than PATHAAN.

The film will get to 500 crore nett before the week is out and then it remains to be seen how much it can add post the third week as it will face competition every week. JAWAN is icing on the cake after a huge August for the industry as from 1st August till end of September, there will be a box office of almost 1500 crore nett for Hindi films.
