GADAR 2 has smashed all records in Bihar circuit by a margin as business stands well above the likes of KGF - CHAPTER 2 and PATHAAN. It is the first film to cross 20 crore nett in the circuit and only eight films including GADAR 2 have crossed the 10 crore nett mark. The circuit remains dominated by single screens.

The circuit has insane potential but development is slow as compared to other circuits. If we go back to pre video era, then the circuit was as big as East Punjab and double the size of Rajasthan but today it is just 33% of East Punjab and 50% of Rajasthan. A film like DHARAM VEER (1977), which is the second biggest blockbuster of that time after SHOLAY, did around 1 crore nett in both Bihar and East Punjab. But today if East Punjab does 10 crore nett, then Bihar is just 2-4 crore nett depending on the zone of the film. There is a huge audience in the state but it needs the cinemas to make this audience really count.

The craze of GADAR 2 is insane in the state as whichever cinema has played it has set a new high and there were people turning up at cinemas which no one thought could ever collect again. The film will lose the bulk of its single screens to JAWAN which will mean limited business in the circuit from here on.
