Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan has bought four offices spread over nearly 8,400 square feet in a commercial project in Oshiwara locality of Mumbai’s Andheri suburb for nearly Rs. 29 crores.

Other Bollywood actors, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan (along with her mother Amrita Singh), have also acquired properties in the tower, documents accessed through FloorTap.com showed. Actor couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol had bought offices in the same project earlier.

Bachchan has purchased these offices from developer Veer Savarkar Projects and has paid stamp duty of Rs. 1.72 crore for registration of the deals that took place on September 1, documents showed. Kartik Aaryan has acquired an office spread over nearly 2,100 sq ft for Rs. 10 crores, while Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh have together bought a similar sized office for Rs. 9 crores.

The office units acquired by Bachchan are on the 21st floor, while Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s units are on the fourth floor.

ET’s email query to Bachchan’s team, and text messages to Kartik Aaryan and his team remained unanswered until the time of going to press. Sara Ali Khan could not be reached for a comment.

In July, Kajol purchased an office space spread over nearly 2,100 sq ft in this tower for Rs 7.64 crores. In April, her husband and actor Ajay Devgn had earlier acquired five office properties for Rs. 45 crores in the same building. All these five properties are spread over 13,293 sq ft across 16th and 17th floors of the tower.

The project with 28 upper floors and 4 basements is currently under construction and is scheduled to be delivered in June 2025, according to registration details available on the portal of Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Real estate has remained one of the most preferred investments for high net-worth individuals. Bollywood personalities have also been picking up properties not only for self-use but also as an investment.
