GADAR 2 is running riot at the box office. After a crazy opening, it actually managed to go up because the areas which were comparatively less made gains on the second day. The shock is the single screen side business of the film which is historic and phenomenal in the Hindi belts. These theatres did not drop on Saturday.

This is so rare as the opening is so huge and the biggest movies shows a drop on Saturday at single screens but most of the single screens here are practically at the same insane levels on Friday. There are more round the clock shows because of the demand of the film. The craze is insane and its like witnessing the craze of 2001 again and that went on for sometime.

The film is a straight BLOCKBUSTER already because of the business in these mass pockets. The industry has a tendency to look at the national chains business but real box office is about those 1000 lower collecting properties on your Excel sheet and when they work, the top lot will look after itself. GADAR 2 had the brand value of GADAR - EK PREM KATHA to get the bumper initial but now its the new film working on its own merits. 

The second day collected 41.50 crore nett taking its two day total 80 crore nett. Sunday will be insane again and simply put there will be no stopping this film.
