GADAR 2 saw a superb hold on its second Monday as it collected around 14 crore nett taking its total to 384.50 crore nett in eleven days. The hold on its second Monday is excellent which was crucial if it is to chase down the 500 crore nett number. The appreciation is huge and the hold was always likely but you can only be sure when it happens.

The film has already crossed the 100 crore nett mark in week two and looks to be heading for the 135 crore nett mark by Thursday. The collections in Delhi/UP have hit the 100 crore nett mark and it will be beating the record of PATHAAN in the circuit in no time, maybe over the third weekend.

There is still a long way to for the 500 crore nett mark but the two key long sustaining Gujarat/Saurashtra and UP are fantastic. Gujarat again on second Monday was around the 2 crore nett mark while UP has been breaking every record in the book from day one be it district, centre or theatre record. The next test is the third Friday to stay on course for the 500 crore nett mark. GADAR 2 will become the third highest grosser ever on the third weekend.
