GADAR 2 smashed all records in the second weekend as it collected 89 crore nett which is the the highest second weekend ever beating the 79 crore nett of BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSIO by a margin. Barring GADAR 2 and BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSIO there have been no films that have done 75 crore nett in the second weekend. DANGAL at 72 crore nett and THE KASHMIR FILES at 70 crore nett are next best.

The second weekend is not only the highest ever but not many films get this sort of number in the first weekend and there are only 17-18 films with a better first weekend number not including GADAR 2 itself. This takes the film to 371 crore nett and the film remains on course for the 500 crore nett number though there is still a long way to go.

The film continues to wreck havoc across the Hindi belts with all these markets doing record breaking business. The Gujarat belt actually had collections that were not far off the first weekend collections. UP is shattering all records by margins and its the same story in Rajasthan. West Bengal and South are less but that was also the case with GADAR - EK PREM KATHA. In Maharashtra, West Bengal and South, it was unable to beat the records of HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN and again these will be the under performers.
