DREAM GIRL 2 scored well on Tuesday as it showed gains in the evening due to the next day being a holiday. The film collected 5.25 crore nett taking its five day number to 49.50 crore nett. There should be solid growth today which should put the week on course for that 60 crore nett number.

The story for the film will be about the second Friday as if the film can go well from there on, then it will be a HIT. Obviously the sequel is unable to match the first DREAM GIRL film but there are many reasons for that including the first film punching above its weight at that time.

The Gujarat belt was still not doing much on Tuesday though it was better than Monday. GADAR 2 is way ahead in Gujarat and that gap could get even bigger on Raksha Bandhan. The hope for Raksha Bandhan is that Delhi/UP keeps on going the way it is and that should be enough for HIT status for the film.
